Rhubarb Pie

Total Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • pastry dough, for two crust 9-inch pie
  • 4 cups diced rhubarb
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup molasses

Recipe

  • 1 prepare 1 pastry lined pie plate. place the rhubarb into the plate. mix the dry ingredients and place on the rhubarb. beat together the egg and milk, pour over the pie. drizzle the molasses over the pie. cover pie with pastry, prick and cook at 450f for 30 minutes, the 375f for 40 minutes.
