Southern Pecan Crisps

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/3 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed for 30 minutes (half of a 17.3 oz. package)
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400°.
- 2 in a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, butter, and pecans.
- 3 unfold pastry on a lightly floured surface; roll into a 15 x 12 inch rectangle; cut into twenty 3-inch squares.
- 4 press squares into bottoms of 3-inch muffin pan cups.
- 5 place 1 heaping teaspoon pecan mixture in center of each.
- 6 bake 10-12 minutes or until golden.
- 7 remove from pans; cool on wire rack; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
