Kahlua Pecan Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 50 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 pastry crust
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup kahlua
  • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup pecans

Recipe

  • 1 line 9-inch pie pan with your favorite pastry recipe.
  • 2 chill for 1 hour.
  • 3 preheat oven to 400 degrees f.
  • 4 in large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, vanilla and flour.
  • 5 mix well.
  • 6 beat in eggs, one at a time.
  • 7 stir in kahlua, corn syrup, evaporated milk, pecans.
  • 8 mix well, pour into pie pan.
  • 9 bake for 10 minutes.
  • 10 then reduce heat to 325 degrees f and bake until firm (about 40 minutes).
  • 11 chill & garnish, if desired.
