- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 1 (12 ounce) can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- ground nutmeg
Recipe
- 1 bake unpricked pastry shell at 450°f for 5 minutes. remove from oven; reduce oven temperature to 350°f meanwhile, beat together apple concentrate, eggs, sugar, butter, and salt. pour into pastry shell. sprinkle with nutmeg. bake at 350°f till knife inserted just off center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes.
