Quiche Lorraine

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 9 inches pie crusts
  • 8 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 425 degrees.
  • 2 prepare pastry. sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pastry lined dish.
  • 3 beat eggs slightly; beat in remaining ingredients. pour into quiche dish.
  • 4 bake 15 minutes.reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees. bake 30 minutes longer.
  • 5 let stand 10 minutes before serving.
