Ingredients
- 2 cups cake-and-pastry flour (or all purpose flour)
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Recipe
- stir liquid into dry ingredients, beating until almost smooth (do not over mix) otherwise pancakes will be very dry and not spongy as well
- pour batter onto preheated griddle , or non stick pan using 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. turn when bubbles break on sufrace of the pancake
- serve hot with butter and maple syrup or honey or chocolate syrup or desired dressing .
