Purity Cookbook Pancakes

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cake-and-pastry flour (or all purpose flour)
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Recipe

  • stir liquid into dry ingredients, beating until almost smooth (do not over mix) otherwise pancakes will be very dry and not spongy as well 
  • pour batter onto preheated griddle , or non stick pan using 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. turn when bubbles break on sufrace of the pancake
  • serve hot with butter and maple syrup or honey or chocolate syrup or desired dressing .
