Pecan/cranberry Tassies

Total Time: 1 hr 45 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped cranberries
  • 3 tablespoons chopped pecans

Recipe

  • 1 for pastry, beat cream cheese and flour on high speed until combined.
  • 2 stir in flour.
  • 3 chill for one hour.
  • 4 shape into 24 balls.
  • 5 place in ungreased 1 3/4 inch muffin tins.
  • 6 press pastry evenly against bottom and up the sides.
  • 7 for filling: beat egg, sugar, vanilla til smooth.
  • 8 stir in nuts and cranberries.
  • 9 spoon filling into cups.
  • 10 bake 325 for 30-35 minutes until brown.
  • 11 cool on wire racks.
  • 12 remove by running a knife around the edges.
