Pie Crust Like Snow 's

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup shortening, plus
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 2 cups ice water
- extra flour
Recipe
- 1 mix flour and salt.
- 2 add shortening and blend in with a pastry cutter until crumbly, moist and looks like little peas.
- 3 add half of the water.
- 4 mix with your hands.
- 5 add more water until dough is quite sticky. depending on your humidity that day, you may not need all of the water.
- 6 divide dough in half.
- 7 sprinkle 1/2 cup or so of flour onto your table.
- 8 roll the flour into the dough, adding more as necessary.
- 9 roll dough into a circle, turning often.
- 10 makes two 9" rounds.
