Pumpkin Dutch Apple Pie

Ingredients
- 2 apples, medium
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons flour
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/8 cup solid pack pumpkin
- 1 cup carnation evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup flour
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup pecans
Recipe
- 1 apple layer: 2 medium apples thinly sliced 1/4 cup sugar 2 teaspoons flour 1 teaspoons lemon juice 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon toss apple slices in the other ingredients and place on the bottom of an unbaked pie shell.
- 2 pumpkin layer: 2 eggs beaten 1 1/2 cups solid pack pumpkin 1 cup carnation milk (i used the no fat) 1/2 cup sugar 2 tbs. melted butter 3/4 teaspoons cinnamon 1/8 teaspoons nutmeg 1/4 teaspoons salt combine all ingredients and pour over apple layer.
- 3 crumble layer: 1/2 cup flour 5 tbs. sugar 3 tbs. butter 1/3 cup pecans combine and crumble with a pastry blender.
- 4 bake at 375 for 30 minutes, then sprinkle crumble layer on top and bake another 20 minutes. cool on a rack.
