Custard Tart

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornflour (corn starch)
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- ground nutmeg
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shells
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 200 degree celsius.
- 2 mix eggs and sugar till thick and creamy.
- 3 combine cornflour, milk and vanilla essence and slowly add to egg and sugar mix beating as you do so.
- 4 spoon mixture into pastry shell and sprinkle with ground nutmeg.
- 5 bake at 200 degree celsius for 10 minutes, reduce heat to 180 degree celsius and bake for a further 20 to 25 minutes. skewer inserted at centre should come out clean.
