Sausage(snaggy) Rolls

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 50 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 sheets puff pastry
  • 1 lb sausage, it says 500 grams but looks like the jimmy dean tube
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/8 cup parsley
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 zucchini, grated, small
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 slices bacon, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/8 cup breadcrumbs

Recipe

  • 1 mix sausage bacon tomato sauce egg bread crumbs herbs
  • 2 veggies together should be moist
  • 3 put in zip lock bag with corner sniped
  • 4 lay out sheet of puff pastry
  • 5 cut in 1/2 length wise
  • 6 put a layer of filling down the middle using ziplock like piping bag
  • 7 fold over both sides til the meet in middle brush with egg to seal
  • 8 brush with milk and sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
  • 9 cut into 6 to 8 pieces
  • 10 repeat.
  • 11 bake on parchment paper to brown bottoms
  • 12 bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden
  • 13 serve with tomato sauce.
