Food Processor Shortbread

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 2 cups unbleached flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • 2 place all ingredients into food processor (use pastry blade if available.).
  • 3 blend until ingredients form a ball.
  • 4 press into ungreased pie pan.
  • 5 using a fork decorate the edges and pierce throughout to prevent bubbles.
  • 6 dust with granulated sugar if desired.
  • 7 cook for 30-40 minutes until lightly browned at edges.
  • 8 cool 10 minutes and then cut into 1/2 to 1 inch wedges.
