Sheila's Tourtiere

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sage
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 medium boiled potatoes, mashed
- pastry for double-crust pie
Recipe
- 1 place all ingredients except potatoes in pot and cook gently app.
- 2 25 minute or until liquid is reduced to half.
- 3 add mashed potatoes and mix well.
- 4 prepare pie and bake at 450 degrees for 10 minute.
- 5 reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30-40 minute or until pie crust is cooked.
