Raspberry Crostada

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 lemon, zest of
  • 2 cups raspberry jam

Recipe

  • 1 mix the crust ingredients until they form a ball, trying to knead the dough as little as possible.
  • 2 refrigerate for an hour.
  • 3 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 4 roll out to 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick.
  • 5 fit into a 9 inch pie plate.
  • 6 cut whatever dough hangs from the sides.
  • 7 spread jam over the bottom.
  • 8 re-roll and cut remaining crust and cut out decorative shapes and strips to form a lattice.
  • 9 bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
  • 10 garnish with sifted confectioners' sugar.
  • 11 cool and serve.
