Onion Quiche With French Fried Onions

Ingredients

- 1 9-inch deep dish pie crust
- 1 1/2 cups swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 (3 ounce) can french-fried onions
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- salt
- pepper
- paprika (garnish)
Recipe
- 1 heat oven 400f degrees.
- 2 thaw pastry shell for 10 minutes at room temp (do not prick the shell).
- 3 bake shell for 7 minutes.
- 4 reduce oven temp to 375f degrees.
- 5 sprinkle the cheese and 1 1/3 cup onions into the shell.
- 6 combine eggs, milk, salt& pepper.
- 7 whisk until mixed well but not frothy.
- 8 pour over the cheese& onions.
- 9 sprinkle with paprika.
- 10 bake 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 11 let stand for 10 minutes.
- 12 top with the remaining onions& serve.
