Peanut Butter Pie

Total Time: 44 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 14 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 9 inches pie shells
  • 1 (9 ounce) container cool whip

Recipe

  • 1 mix with pastry blender until crumbly , the peanut butter and powdered sugar.
  • 2 sprinkle 3/4 of the mix
  • 3 into bottom of baked 9" pie shell.
  • 4 in double boiler mix cornstarch, sugar, butter, milk and cook for 12 min .
  • 5 stir egg yolks into a little mixture than add to the rest .
  • 6 cook 2 more minutes or until thickened .
  • 7 add vanilla .
  • 8 pour over crumbs in pie shell & refrigerate .
  • 9 top with cool whip and rest of the peanut butter crumble.
