Peanut Butter Pie

Ingredients
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 3 cups milk
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 9 inches pie shells
- 1 (9 ounce) container cool whip
Recipe
- 1 mix with pastry blender until crumbly , the peanut butter and powdered sugar.
- 2 sprinkle 3/4 of the mix
- 3 into bottom of baked 9" pie shell.
- 4 in double boiler mix cornstarch, sugar, butter, milk and cook for 12 min .
- 5 stir egg yolks into a little mixture than add to the rest .
- 6 cook 2 more minutes or until thickened .
- 7 add vanilla .
- 8 pour over crumbs in pie shell & refrigerate .
- 9 top with cool whip and rest of the peanut butter crumble.
