Rose-scented Geranium Bread

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped dried rose-scented geranium leaves
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup ground almonds

Recipe

  • 1 combine all dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • 2 combine all wet ingredients together in another bowl and mix until smooth.
  • 3 add wet mixture to dry and continue mixing until blended smooth.
  • 4 pour into greased loaf pan. bake at 375 degrees f for 45 minutes. cool on a rack.
