Fresh Peach Brown Sugar Pie

Ingredients
- 2 (9 inch) pie crusts (see classic pie crust, idiot proof step-by-step photo tutorial)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 5 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 tablespoons butter
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 425.
- 2 stir dry ingredients together.
- 3 sprinkle peaches with lemon juice and almond extract.
- 4 add dry ingredients and toss gently to mix.
- 5 dump into pastry lined 9" pie pan, dot with butter and add top crust.
- 6 cut vent holes.
- 7 bake until bubbles and crust is browned.
- 8 about 35-45 minutes.
