Perfect Pie Crust

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 3/4 cups shortening
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 mix dry ingredients and shortening in large bowl.
  • 2 mix vinegar, whipped egg and ½ c water in small bowl.
  • 3 combine both mixes into a ball.
  • 4 divide into 5 portions and wrap portions not being used with foil and place in the freezer for future use.
  • 5 each makes one pie crust.
