Dad's Butter Raisin Tarts

Ingredients

• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup raisins
• 2 tablespoons melted butter
• 1 egg
• 3/4 cup water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 9-inch double-crust pie shells

Recipe

• 1 combine all ingredients ,except pastry and cook slowly for 7 minutes.
• 2 line muffin pans with pastry.
• 3 pour several spoonfuls in each tart.
• 4 bake at 400f degrees for 20- 25 minutes.
