Cherry Rhubarb Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons quick-cooking tapioca
  • 1 pastry for double-crust pie
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2 combine the rhubarb, cherry pie filling, sugar and tapioca in a large bowl. let stand for 15 minutes.
  • 3 pour filling into unbaked pie shell, and cover with pie crust. brush top with milk and sprinkle on sugar.
  • 4 bake for 40-45 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
