Ingredients
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shortening
- 6 -8 tablespoons orange juice
Recipe
- 1 sift together flour and salt.
- 2 cut in shortening until mixture resembles cornmeal.
- 3 add orange juice, a small amount at a time, tossing lightly with a fork until dough is moist enough to hold together.
- 4 shape into ball and roll out or refrigerate.
- 5 pastry will keep wrapped up in the fridge for several days.
