Ingredients
- Servings: 20
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup lard
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sour cream
- sausage, cooked and peeled
Recipe
- 1 mix dry ingredients.
- 2 cut in lard as for pastry.
- 3 add milk and sour cream -- add more milk if mixture is too dry.
- 4 roll out on floured board. cut peeled and cooked sausage lengthwise into desired size.
- 5 place along the edge of the pastry and roll dough 1 1/2 times around sausage.
- 6 seal edges of dough.
- 7 continue until all the dough is used up.
- 8 cut into 2 inch pieces.
- 9 bake 400f til brown - 20 mins approx.
