Quick Lazy Cook Perogies

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 60 -100 wonton wrappers (round ones if you can find them)
  • 1 3/4 cups mashed potatoes (i'm going to use instant)
  • 3/4 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 bunch green onion, chopped (just the green part)
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits (i'll use imitation to keep it vegetarian)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder

Recipe

  • 1 wonton wrappers are thin so use a pastry brush to brush a little water on one side of each and stick two together, wet sides inches.
  • 2 mix rest of ingredients, adjust to taste.
  • 3 fill wrappers, fold in half and use water along the edge to seal, be sure there's no holes.
  • 4 drop into boiling water for a min or two, don't over cook.
  • 5 if desired, pop into a frying pan with heated butter for a few min to crisp the outsides.
  • 6 serve with sour cream, chopped green onions, bacon bits, more cheddar, or whatever else you want.
