Strawberry Bar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 package strawberry muffin mix (6-8 uffin size)
• 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
• 1/2 cup strawberry jam
• confectioners' sugar

Recipe

• 1 heat oven to 325 degrees.
• 2 with fingertips or a pastry blender, combine muffin mix and butter until crumbly.
• 3 pat into an ungreased 9-inch square pan.
• 4 bake 20 minutes.
• 5 spread jam over crust.
• 6 return to oven and bake 10 minutes more.
• 7 sift confectioners sugar over jam.
• 8 cool and cut into squares.
