Tofu Pastry

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 250 g wholemeal pastry flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 90 g firm tofu, cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon cold pressed sunflower oil
  • 125 ml filtered water
  • additional flour

Recipe

  • 1 sift flour and baking powder.
  • 2 make well in the centre.
  • 3 combine tofu and oil and add to the"well".
  • 4 add water.
  • 5 work the mixture until a soft dough forms.
  • 6 turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead 30 seconds only.
  • 7 use immediately.
