Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 25 ritz crackers, crushed
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- pastry for double-crust pie
Recipe
- 1 combine water, sugar and cream of tartar.
- 2 bring to a boil.
- 3 add ritz crackers and boil for 2 minutes without stirring.
- 4 pour into shell.
- 5 dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- 6 top with crust. bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
