Parsley And Baked Bean Loaf

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped finely
  • 1 cup baked beans
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, chopped finely

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit
  • 2 grease a 9" by 5" by 3" loaf pan and set aside
  • 3 measure all dry ingredients into a medium size bowl and put aside
  • 4 in a large bowl combine milk, eggs, parsley, ginger and beans together with a wire whisk
  • 5 slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined
  • 6 pour batter into loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes in preheated oven
  • 7 wait for 5 minutes and then loosen from loaf pan to cool on wire rack.
