Salmon Quiche

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 155 g butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 250 g salmon
  • 3 onions, finely chopped
  • 300 g cottage cheese
  • 200 g mascarpone
  • 180 ml fresh cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • breadcrumbs

Recipe

  • 1 for the pastry make in a crumble the flour salt and butter.
  • 2 then add the egg yolk and water till the mixture become a firm ball.
  • 3 than wrap in cling film and leave to rest for 30 minute.
  • 4 prepare the baking dish by spreading it lightly with butter and cover with breadcrumbs.
  • 5 open the pastry and put it in the dish over the breadcrumbs.
  • 6 put in the fridge for 15min meanwhile make the filling.
  • 7 heat olive oil in a pan and cook the onions and leave aside to cool.
  • 8 in a bowl mix the cottage cheese, mascarpone and fresh cream.
  • 9 add salmon and eggs.
  • 10 take out the pastry from the fridge, spread the onions on the pastry and spread the salmon mixture on the onions.
  • 11 bake for 40 minute.
