Cinnamon Pecan Twists

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup pecan pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 9 ounces puff pastry, thawed
- 1 large egg, beaten
Recipe
- 1 combine sugar, pecans, and cinnamon in a mini-chopper and process until sandy.
- 2 line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- 3 unfold pastry and brush with egg.
- 4 spread sugar mixture over pastry.
- 5 cut in half and then cut into 8 (1/2 inch wide) strips.
- 6 twist strips.
- 7 lay on pans, pushing ends down with your thumb.
- 8 freeze 10-15 minutes, until firm.
- 9 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- 10 bake until golden, 18-20 minutes, rotating pans halfway. cool on a rack.
