Ingredients
- 1 lb lard
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 1/2 cups cake-and-pastry flour
Recipe
- 1 mix baking powder, salt and flour in a large bowl. in another bowl, dissolve lard in boiling water. add dry ingredients and stir well.
- 2 cover with foil and refrigerate over night.
