Onion & Cheese Pie

Ingredients

• 1 sheet pastry dough
• 1 large onion
• 1 (440 g) can mushroom soup, condensed
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 cup grated cheese
• 3 eggs
• 2 tablespoons mustard
• 1 1/2 tablespoons plain flour
• 1/2 cup milk

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 180°c (350°f).
• 2 line pie pan with pastry.
• 3 sauté finely diced onion in butter until tender.
• 4 spread over pastry.
• 5 sprinkle grated cheese over onion.
• 6 blend eggs slightly beaten, flour and mustard.
• 7 stir in mushroom soup (undiluted) and milk.
• 8 pour over cheese and onion.
• 9 bake 40-60 minutes.
• 10 let stand 20 minutes before serving.
