Peach Custard Pie

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 pie crust (9-inch)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tps. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 4 cups peeled and sliced peaches

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f prepare pie crust as direct on package for one-crust pie, using 9-inch pie plate; flute edge.
  • 2 mix sugar, flour, eggs, butter, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg in medium bowl. place peaches in pastry-lined pie plate. pour custard mixture over peaches.
  • 3 bake 1 hour or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly. cool on wire rack.
  • 4 after 15-20 minutes of baking, cover edge of crust with strips of foil to prevent excessive browning.
