Peach Custard Pie

Ingredients

- 1 pie crust (9-inch)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 tps. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 4 cups peeled and sliced peaches
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375°f prepare pie crust as direct on package for one-crust pie, using 9-inch pie plate; flute edge.
- 2 mix sugar, flour, eggs, butter, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg in medium bowl. place peaches in pastry-lined pie plate. pour custard mixture over peaches.
- 3 bake 1 hour or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly. cool on wire rack.
- 4 after 15-20 minutes of baking, cover edge of crust with strips of foil to prevent excessive browning.
