Ingredients

- 6 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 0.5 (17 1/3 ounce) box frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/4 cup shredded italian cheese blend
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Recipe
- 1 sprinkle work surface with 1 tablespoon grated parmesan.
- 2 unfold thawed puff pastry sheet on grated parmesan.
- 3 lightly beat egg with 1 tablespoon water.
- 4 lightly brush puff pastry with egg wash.
- 5 in a meduim bowl, combine 2 tablespoons parmesan, italian cheese and paprika.
- 6 sprinkle cheeses over surface of pastry sheet.
- 7 lightly press cheese into pastry.
- 8 fold top and bottom edges of pastry to the center.
- 9 next fold pastry in half from left to right.
- 10 now, fold in half top to bottom.
- 11 wrap and freese at least 30 minutes.
- 12 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- 13 line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 14 set aside.
- 15 cut 1/8 inch thick slices starting at the shortest edge.
- 16 sprinkle "faces" of palmier with remaining parmesan cheese.
- 17 lay face up on prepared baking sheet.
- 18 two inches apart.
- 19 bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- 20 serve warm.
