Mini Cheese & Ham Tarts

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 tablespoons margarine
  • 4 teaspoons water
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 slices wafer thin ham, chopped
  • 1/2 cup frozen corn
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 pinch paprika
  • 1 dash salt & pepper

Recipe

  • 1 for pastry: rub together flour & margarine until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  • 2 stir in water & mix to make a smooth dough.
  • 3 lightly knead on a floured surface.
  • 4 cut out 12 3 inch circles.
  • 5 press into lightly greased muffin pan.
  • 6 for filling: mix cheese, ham & corn.
  • 7 divide among pastry cups.
  • 8 beat together egg, milk, salt & pepper, pour into cups.
  • 9 sprinkle with paprika.
  • 10 bake 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
  • 11 serve warm.
