Torta Pascualina (argentine Spinach Pie)

Ingredients

- 1 pastry for double-crust pie (top & bottom)
- 1 1/2 cups frozen spinach
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup grated swiss cheese
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 place the bottom crust in your pie plate.
- 3 cook the spinach, drain it, and chop it finely.
- 4 saute the chopped onion in a little cooking spray.
- 5 mix together the spinach, the onion, and the rest of the ingredients.
- 6 pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- 7 add the top crust and seal.
- 8 bake for 30-40 minutes.
