Easy Tart Shells

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (11 ounce) pie crust mix
  • pie filling, of your choice (canned or homemade)

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 450 degrees.
  • 2 prepare pastry for one-crust pie as directed on pie crust package except divide dough into 6 equal parts.
  • 3 roll each part into 4-inch circle.
  • 4 fit over backs of muffin cups or 6-ounce custard cups, making pleats so pastry will fit closely.
  • 5 prick with fork and place on baking sheet.
  • 6 bake 8-10 minutes.
  • 7 cool and remove from pans.
  • 8 just fill with (warm?) pie filling and top with whipped cream or cool whip.
  • 9 unfilled tart shells can be frozen for future use.
