Savory Chicken Pot Pie

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups sliced celery
  • 1 cup sliced carrot
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • pastry crust, for 9-in deep dish pie

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet melt better.
  • 2 blend in flour until smooth.
