Ingredients

- 1 cup butter (at room temperature)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, separated
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup pecan halves or 1 cup walnut halves
Recipe
- 1 in a bowl with a mixer, beat butter with sugar until smoothly blended.
- 2 beat in egg yolk.
- 3 add flour to butter mixture.
