English Toffee Cookies

Total Time: 1 hr 25 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter (at room temperature)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, separated
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pecan halves or 1 cup walnut halves

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl with a mixer, beat butter with sugar until smoothly blended.
