Grandma Chics Raisin Pie Filling 1968

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
- 2 cups water
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
Recipe
- 1 combine raisins and water and cook over medium heat for 12 minutes.
- 2 add sugar, flour, butter and cook two minutes more.
- 3 pour cooled mixture into a pastry shell.
- 4 place a top crust over top and make vent slashes.
- 5 bake 375 degrees f for 30 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- 6 note: rind and juice of 1/2 a fresh lemon or orange may be added.
