Creamy Raspberry Mallow Pie

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 ounce) package raspberry gelatin powder
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen raspberries
  • 20 large marshmallows
  • 1 (16 ounce) container cool whip
  • 1 (9 inch) baked pastry shells

Recipe

  • 1 dissolve jello powder in 1/2 cup boiling water.
  • 2 stir in 1/2 cup cold water, chill until syrupy.
  • 3 heat the raspberries and juice.
  • 4 add the marshmallows,stir until they are melted.
  • 5 chill until thick.
  • 6 fold in 1/2 the cool whip and partially thickened jello.
  • 7 pour into baked pie shell.
  • 8 chill, top with remaining cool whip.
  • 9 sprinkle a few droplets of red food coloring.
  • 10 swirl with the tip of a knife.
  • 11 optional: you may substitute strawberries if you wish.
