Maple-swirl Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup maple sugar (or granulated sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon apple pie spice
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2/3 cup raisins (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 -2 teaspoon milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees f.
  • 2 line a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with parchment paper, extending edges over ends; set aside.
