Pastechi Pastry Dough

Ingredients
- 9 cups flour
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 3 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 cup milk (more if needed)
- hot oil
Recipe
- 1 mix dry ingredients with butter.
- 2 slowly add liquid.
- 3 knead to a smooth ball and let stand 20 minutes.
- 4 roll out thinly on lightly floured board.
- 5 cut into rounds using biscuit cutter or glass.
- 6 place 1 generous tsp of pastechi filling (recipe posted separately) onto rounds.
- 7 fold rounds in half; seal and crimp edges.
- 8 fry in oil until golden brown.
- 9 drain on paper towels.
- 10 serve warm and with ketchup, if desired.
- 11 ***recipemay be halved.
