Pastry Cheese Ball

Ingredients
- 2 pepperidge farms patty shells
- 7 ounces gouda cheese, in a ball
- 1 egg, beaten
Recipe
- 1 thaw patty shells and roll into an 8-inch circle.
- 2 remove the wax coating on the cheese; cover the cheese with the pastry and seal the edges well.
- 3 refrigerate for several hours.
- 4 glaze with the beaten egg.
- 5 bake at 400°f for 10 minutes, then reduce to 350°f and bake for 10 minutes more.
- 6 remove from oven and let stand for 30 minutes.
- 7 serve with crackers.
