Honey-pecan Finger Pies

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans
Recipe
- 1 combine 1 1/4 cups flour and 1/3 cup sugar in a bowl; cut 1/2 cup butter into flour mixture with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
- 2 press firmly and evenly into an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
- 3 bake at 375* for 10 to 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
- 4 combine 2/3 cup sugar and remaining ingredients; pour over prepared crust.
- 5 bake at 375* for 20 to 25 minutes, shielding with foil the last 5 minutes, if necessary.
- 6 cool on a wire rack.
- 7 cut into 1 1/2-x1-inch bars.
- 8 yield: 4 1/2 dozen.
