Peanut Raisin Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 dash ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1 cup chopped salted peanuts
  • 1 unbaked pastry shell
  • whipped cream

Recipe

  • 1 in medium bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
  • 2 add sugar, syrup, butter, salt, vanilla, cloves and vinegar. continue tobeat utnil thoroughly blended.
  • 3 stir in raisins and peanuts.
  • 4 turn into pastry shell.
  • 5 bake at 375 degrees fro 45 minute or until firm.
  • 6 serve slightly warm or cool, with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
