Drop Biscuits

Total Time: 17 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup chilled butter, , cut in small pieces
  • 1 cup skim milk (or 1 or 2 %)

Recipe

  • 1 the dough for these biscuits is dropped into muffin tins instead of onto a baking sheet, but their final shape is still like that of traditional drop biscuits.
  • 2 preheat oven to 450 degrees.

  • 10 to reheat in oven, wrap in foil.
